Worn out tapes?

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick blog this week. I want us to divulge one of our deep, dark secrets--that is the fact that we ladies WEAR OUT spots on our VHS tapes or DVDs by rewinding and watching those romantic scenes over, and over, and over again!

Here's my confession:

Space:1999 year two episode "Journey to Where". All you Space:1999 fans know what part I mean...the kiss. Oh yea, baby! The kiss! The kiss I had been waiting for almost two years to see when I was 13 years old. I have to admit that my tapes are WORN OUT on that part!

OK, your turn, ladies .......
Colleen

Yep, THE KISS in 'Journey to Where' is a good one, as is the scene with The Love Test in 'Brian the Brain'. For me, Babylon 5 has many scenes with Sheridan and Delenn, the ones that come to mind quickly are the scene after she is knifed and then gives the command team their new uniforms in MedCenter (no kiss that I recall, but very moving), the sceen where Delenn rides to the rescue in the White Star and saves B5 reminding the attacking humans Sheridan is the only human to have beaten Mimbari and she is protecting HIM, and probably the sceen where Sheridan returns from Zh'ha'dum. Great scene there! (Sorry for the lack of episode titles, my DVDs are not available at present to review.)
The VHS tape I probably wore out the most in the 80's was the kiss where Lee Stetson FINALLY kissed Amanda in 'Scarecrow and Mrs. King'. I waited over 4 years for that one! (okay, okay, I have a Bruce Boxleitner thing...) Any others willing to confess? Meredith

Meredith! WOW, you've hit a nerve with me! I adore Bruce Boxleitner! Scarecrow and Mrs. King was one of my absolutely favorite shows. I HAVE worn out some VHS tapes with that show as well.

Colleen,
Me too! Me too! The kiss in "Journey to Where"; the kiss at the end of "the Mark of Arkonon"; the beggining, the end and the love test of "Brian the Brain"; the "John... Me too" in "The AB Crysalis"... Good that now I have a copy of all episodes in my PC!

Hello Colleen !

Me too I was waiting for the kiss we saw in "Journey to where" since a long time ago... I watched it a million times, and I continue to watched it, again and again...

I also do love the kiss at the end of "the Mark of Arkonon"; the beggining, the end and the love test of "Brian the Brain"; the "John... Me too" in "The AB Crysalis"...

And what do you think about the strong embrace and kiss between John and Helena in "Bringer of wonder" part one? So romantic, isn't it.

John Koenig and Helena Russell what a lovely couple...
